I Had a Dream... Then It Was Gone

The following was written early on May 14 by Stephen Boyle, a member of Free Detroit No Consent. That day was a protest with Stand Up For Democracy at the Michigan Court of Appeals requesting the Repeal of Public Act 4 (Emergency Manager Law) be placed on the November 6 ballot.

The work had been done across the state collecting over 220,000 signatures on ballots, the next step was to get the referendum placed on the ballot for November 6, 2012, allowing the people to vote. Then we could repeal a law that moved control of school systems and city governments into the hands of dictators assigned by the State of Michigan Governor Rick Snyder and Treasurer Andy Dillon.

The situation remains unresolved with the referendum to place the Repeal of Public Act 4 on the ballot for November 6, 2012. We the people have to rise up in protest AND DEMAND JUSTICE NOW from government.
