Youth Voice Marching To Break "School-To-Prison Pipeline"
Detroit youth organization Youth Voice held a march on Mar. 23 to bring attention to the lack of options for urban youth after high school, which often leads them directly to the juvenile and criminal justice systems. On Wednesday WDET's Craig Fahle Show spoke with Cheyenne Walker, Senior at Cody High School DIT and Executive Board Member of Youth Voice, Quentin McKinnon, Senior at Cody High School DIT and President of Youth Voice, Samuel Molnar, Community Organizer for Youth Voice, and Razul Zakie, Sophomore at Henry Ford High School, about the march and Youth Voice's efforts to stop the "school-to-prison pipeline."
