Wednesday June 13 at 10am Judge William Collette will be hearing the case of The City of Detroit vs State of Michigan, et al, case 1266-MK. This case presented by Corporation Counsel, James Noseda, will test the legitimacy of the Financial Stability Agreement (aka Consent Agreement).
Update: Corporation Counsel Krystal Crittendon will be meeting with Detroit City Council at 2:30 pm on Wednesday (closed session).

- April 4, 2012 City Council approves the Consent Agreement (FSA) voting 5-4 in favor. Voting in favor are: City Council President Charles Pugh, Council Pro Tem Gary Brown, Members Kenneth V Cockrel Jr, Saunteel Jenkins, and James Tate. Opposed are Council Members JoAnn Watson, Brenda Jones, Kwame Kenyatta, and Andre' Spivey.

- June 7, 2012 State Treasurer to CFO Jack Martin (per FSA), cc: COO Chris Brown indicating State will not pay $80 million promised through the FSA of 2012 Limited Tax General Obligation Bonds should the lawsuit against the Financial Stability Agreement continue to court. The State Treasurer is concerned about the June 27 deadline for Take-Out Financing, indicating while legal action on the FSA is on-going the City's revenue sharing payments will be intercepted by U.S. Bank.
