Mayor's Campaign Series

Photo from TheGrio/NBC
If you've see the videos being produced on the YouTube channel MyDetroitCable, you've witnessed a series of Mayor Dave Bing advertisements regarding changes happening around the city. These video clips are well-produced campaign spots that are being released.

We need to remind the Mayor of City Charter sec 2-106.7, these videos should have City of Detroit on them more predominately than be shown as Mayor Dave Bing productions.

The Mayor, City Council members and City Clerk are prohibited from soliciting appointees, appointive officers and employees to work on political campaign activities using City property or during working hours.
The Mayor loves working on media attention with press conferences, the multi-phased Detroit Works Project, and other grandstanding initiatives. Stop the flash and glitz and lets get to work Mayor, give the people a clear guide on how to contact city departments and those staff members you've placed between yourself and the Department Directors.

Ask the public... they are not being served by DDOT.
Where is CUSTOMER SERVICE in the Envisurage contract?

Over 2,600 city employee jobs are being / have been eliminated. Where are the reductions in your staff? Lets see some responsibility in top management if we are all going to get by on less.
